How to Sprout Mung Beans

-Whole mung beans -A large jar -A colander or sieve -A clean tea towel -An elastic band -Alternatively you can use a sprouting kit

1.Measure the amount of beans you want to sprout. They will more than double in size so
choose a jar that will accommodate this growth.

2. Remove any damaged or discolored beans.

3. In a large bowl, rinse and soak the mung beans in water overnight.

4. Drain the beans and rinse them well under running water. Allow them to drain completely before transferring them to the jar.

5. Lay the jar on its side and cover it with a clean tea towel. Use an elastic band to secure the tea towel.
